PvE gear better for pvp than pvp gear?

just read some articles - is it true that in MoP you should do pvp in PvE gear cause PvP gear simply sucks in comparisson and PvP Power stat simply does increase damage less than the PvE bonuses?

Nah. Maybe only end pve gear (588)

the raid hc items (now SoO hc) are more powerful than the Prideful ones, only they, and only in world pvp - in bgs & arenas, they are scaled down quite a lot, worry not about pve-rs, save for the trinket effects like the voodoo gnomes (as they arent just a stat boost)

The answer is: the best pve gear is much better for world pvp than pvp gear, but pvp gear is better for instanced pvp.
