Learning lockpicking skill in WOTLK?

I have a Undead Mage and did the quest at Ratchet to kill Polly and at same time levelled my skill to 106

But I did a few quests and kept getting locked boxes dropped so have 20 in my inventory at moment but when I try to open them it says "requires lockpicking 1)

I don't know why,

I don't know why,

Since lockpicking is a talent dedicated to rogues only, mages aren't eligible to open any boxes by theirselves. (click here.)

Oops sorry I meant I was a Undead Rogue Im not a mage lol.

Its almost 3am and I am tired.

EDIT : Silly me I didn't realise the skill was in the spellbook I assumed it was automatic.

You learn the skill from the class trainer, then you can find it under the General tab in your spell book. Also, get glyph of lock picking. Last night I raised my skill from 1 to 100 for the Thistle Tea quest in 2 minutes through that glyph. Otherwise it would've taken me up to 10-15 minutes.
