WotLK Rogue PvP

I started leveling my first rogue (currently lvl 74) and after ending up in some open world PvP I have been really interested in doing some BGs and arenas. I entered one BG and I had no survivability. I wasn't expecting much, especially being new to PvP with a rogue. I was wondering if someone that has experience with rogue PvP would share some info on how to increase my skills.

I know skill is greater than class so I am really still trying to figure out which class I would like to run as a main PvP toon. Currently trying a mage and druid as well (both 80 but no PvP gear yet). Really liking the frost mage in 1v1 situations.

U have nice guides here. If u want to improve ur skills, go to the rogue section and search for rogue guide lists :)

the best way to learn is watching videos, seeing what people do and try to do it yourself, are u intersted in bgs only or arenas as well?

You're gonna struggle in bgs unless you mainly help in group fights/seek out 1v1s.

Enjoy the gearing hell as rogue thoguh lmao, you get to enjoy the great 2h melee cleaves yoloing you with random button bashing that kill you in 2 hits.

Best advice would be know when to fight and when to run. As rogue you can spend most fights running away if people are going for you let your team deal with them. People won't switch targets if you run away from them in a group fight, it's free "CC".

Run away, restealth, stunlock and repeat, your main job is securing kills/general control.

Practice is always the best way to improve! Watching videos, asking people & reading guides helps especially if you have unanswered questions though. :3 To decide which you like most, the only real way to know is to try playing each of the classes yourself, I personally find feral the funnest class to play as it is so versatile and has a very high skill cap, meaning even though I'm very good at it, I'm still improving all the time ^^ Best of luck finding a class you like and improving at it!

My advice to learn a rogue is look at some youtube videos but ones of rogues who find excitement to winn vs wars, dks and sucha hard classes for rogues. Dont watch the play style of those rogues who lets say top bgs with 50+ scores they are 3key pressers and they target most times low geared clothe or low health targets. If your doing bgs watch ones as i sayd who are smart play style ones and want to play hardmode vs dks, prot wars, mages and win and ask them for advice. But when you get some skill in rogue the right skill not the 3key backstab ambush vanish one but real one rogues are op funn to play.

Thats wat rogues should do.
Finish low hp classes who have a chance to escape (healers especially) + sapping key targets aka healers or very geared damage dealers.
Sick triks game is arena or wpvp, not a battleground. There rogue should kill asap and hide.
