Did the server roll back or something?

Yesterday I was playing my level 44 Warlock questing in Tanaris. Today I log on and I'm in Scarlet Monastery, and a few of my quests have had their progress reset. My Warlock's level has also gone down to level 43 :/. Can anyone tell me what happened?

Yes the server had multiple outages and rolled back a couple of times.
