If i want to sell a char,how should i estimate it's price?
With gear the minimal price is 193,without gear it's 30.The char is a lvl 63 lock on lordaeron, but I don't think 30 coins is enough for it,and no one would buy it with gear thats sure.It has some good name which lots of players would like(imo),almost 5 days played time(120 hours of "work" minus the afk and others so lets say 100 hours). If I would sell it for 30 coins(30 euros),that would mean 0,3 euro hourly rate, lol thats a joke even if playing wow if fun.
So what do you think, how much is a 63 lock worth? How should I find the ideal price?
I guess you didn't understand what i wrote, ofc i get coins, but I wanted to illustrate how much my character worth.
And no,I don't play wow to earn money.
I understand what you tried to say, and i actually didn't answer to your question. now about your question, i should tell you imo a level 63 character doesn't worth over 40 coins (without gear) cause people probably sell their naked 80s for that price. And as you guessed Noone will pay 193 coins for level 63 wether it be maxed geared or not.
account trading itself no, but there is a service available to premium members (aka donors) that allows us to sell unwanted characters for a warmane-determined minimal price + optional player fee
I believe he was confused because how else can someone get your character... either they get your whole account... or you just 'move' a char between accs for a fee
most annoying about this system is people who played for years and really got bored with some char or expansion they has very little chance to sell. All this system working for people who just level up for trade. Would be nice to see some playtime restrictions on sale, to nerf coin farming and boost real char sales.
it just moves the character out of your account and into someone else's. it's using the warmane coins so you can't really make real money out of it unless you go to illegal means, which is unsafe for both parties anyways. there is a "fee" and it's warmane takes a percentage of the coins that were used in the transaction, basically a portion of player-bought coins go dead, so eventually someone would have to buy more coins to keep the economy going.
