Are you 80lvl and looking for a place to gank people? If so, then please tell me what's your rogue's name so I can camp you until you delete WoW. Nothing personal, you pathetic piece of ****.
Eh ignore those 2 guys above. Now for gank zones hmm.. Un'goro Crater, Tanaris, Borean Tundra(Warsong Hold, Bor'gorok Outpost. The best gank place would be outside Orgrimmar. Ganking PvPers with low HP yields the most salt :').
Sub - ambush would pref spec.
Rogues do it from behind :). Whenever it's honorable or not, it doesn't matter as long as you have fun :p. Sure u gona get hatted but, if you're a lone wolf rogue i don't think that matters to you eitherway.
And OT:
For the guys above:
![]()
Subparagraphs from very good to decent.
Azeroth:
- Tanaris: main city > pirate cove
- STV: hunter's camp > alliance base > grom-gol zeppelins
- Booty Bay
Outland:
- Nagrand Arena quest
Nortrend:
- Wintergrasp Fortress (if capped by horde) > quest mobs areas
- Sholazar basin main quest hub > river quests
- Dragonblight main tower
- Zul'Drak arena quest
rest is totally **** HK/hour wise

Comments like these really motivates me on ganking more and more lol
It would be really nice if it was same-level outdoor PvP and not 80lvl wiping the floor with 20lvl players.
Continuing in the spirit of this thread, today I got like 20 HKs in Arathi Highlands with my rogue while leveling. Most of them were either inside Stormgarde Keep or on the main road between it and the ally post. Half of them were 1v2 and 1v3 situations. At some point that road became a boneyard, hehe :D One shaman who I killed 3 times in a row (she was standing in my way for a quest and just didn't move, no matter how many times I killed her) got mad and brought her own 24k HP human warrior. I pitied the other lowlvl hordies, which he was slaughtering in revenge, all the while sitting in stealth and watching from the nearby bushes. At some point he left, so I just continued killing allys. It's better honor than battlegrounds, where you wait 40-50min and then get "not enough players, close in 5min".
That's ganking. That's being a rogue, basically. That's fun and it also gives me HKs. And no, I'm not a twink, I'm just leveling there.
What you're describing with a max level char is personal issues and ****. If you're gonna do that, then you're pathetic. No, it's not "fun". No, it's not "your way" of having fun. No, it's not "just PvP". You're just pathetic, that's all. Open your eyes. And if you're still killing lowbies in 2016, then you must also be ******ed in addition to pathetic. Congratulations!
OK, do it. But you're still pathetic. The main problem with people like you is that you think it's cool and that we're "mad" at you. No, we're not. You'll never gank me because I know which zones to quest in and which to avoid, and even if you do I can escape you easily, like every other time. Both me and Solar are old-time WoW players, who have also ganked in the past. Ganking is just lame and the sooner you realize it, the sooner you can wash away that shame from your face that you were once a ganker. You're basically having fun by deliberately ruining the fun of others. You go to a zone vastly under your level and kill players for the sole reason of preventing them from playing and having fun. When asked why you kill them, you give some classic dumbass answer the sort of "because I can", "because they're [enemy_faction]" or "because they ganked me too". Wow... Just wow, really. Now do you see how pathetic that sounds?Comments like these really motivates me on ganking more and more lol
"Because I can/ because it's fun" is the classic answer a 14-year-old teenage boy would give.
"Because they're [enemy_faction]/ because that's world PvP"? Okay, then go kill same-level players in same level zones.
"Because they ganked me too" - so ganking back innocent players in revenge who have no idea who you are and what you want makes you better than those who ganked you? I don't think so. Revenge would be killing the one who ganked you - not other players. Being better than them would be not being affected by gankers and becoming a ganker yourself. If you only realize this last part, then I believe you can change.

Boy, you sure sound salty as hell. What a wonderful wall of text, I liked it. But the small problem here is that none of your words describe the way I am and the way I play. Sorry if I let you down now.
I admit, however, that I do attack/gank a lot, basically it's whenever I see someone with red letters, but, ONLY if they give me HK kill + honor point. I don't know if your "do it" is meant to kill gray level players, but no, I won't. I won't simply because I do get nothing, I waste time, it's not really fun for me to simply 1 shot lowbies. I'm not saying I have never killed grays in my life, because ofc, everyone did, but as for me it was with the following reasons, 1. They mess with me whether I'm fighting agaisnt another 80 or not, 2. They are killing mobs which I need to kill for quest/farming etc, 3. They spamming offensive emotes on me, 4. They belong to guilds I don't like (this one sometimes), and I think it's pretty enough. As you can see I won't kill them for no reason. Gods' honest. I said on my previous post that I get motivated for raping lowbies because of the whinning topics over and over again, yes, but it doesn't mean that I'm definately doing it. I do agree that it's kind of lame to gank low lvls but sometimes that is exactly what they deserve so they will finally realize the way that this game is, what a PvP type server is, so that they will have two options, either deal with it or stop playing on this server, simple. Wow exists for almost 11 years now, isn't it enough time to think about ways to avoid ganking, especially on a high lvling rate server? If most gankers are always around STV and Tanaris, why the hell are people leveling there then? That's literally asking for it.
I don't mind if I will never kill you ingame as I don't know your chars and I couldn't care less even. If you say you know how to avoid gankings, well then congrats, I damn honestly wish everyone was the same as you, instead of creating whinning threads on the forums. But one thing is for sure, no one's going to stop me from doing what I like/need to do in order to distract a little bit from my irl stuff, which is PvPing (bgs and world PvP around northrend) and farming some herbs around, as long as the server remains up and active. If someone's gonna say this is pathetic, then it's their freaking problem, not mine.
You know that that is exactly what I always did in almost everyone private server I played on? Some ?? level ganked me then I log the others' faction char and put them on my friend list and them trying to track them down when I was 60 or 80, vanilla server and wotlk, respectively, with some decent gear ofc, and you know what, I did kill them and camped so hard that you can't even imagine their pain. Fortunately, they were so bad, only running away and backpedal like ducks that it was so easy. Some others I haven't find them online ever again sadly but oh well, time was moving on.Revenge would be killing the one who ganked you - not other players. Being better than them would be not being affected by gankers and becoming a ganker yourself. If you only realize this last part, then I believe you can change.
Again, even though I find it kinda sad camping gray levels, it's not against server rules so, people should really deal with it and get going. Take like 15m break or more if needed, go level in less populated zones, call for help, don't just ramdomly ress like if the bastard won't kill you again, etc, so many things people can think of doing to avoid ganking. Anyway it doesn't matter. You don't know me, you know nothing about me so please go call pathetic to someone else, thanks and have a good day
tl;dr the rest. So basically you do not even belong to the people I'm talking about. :D
This is how alliance works here. They got nothing to do. Horde ignores PVP while leveling and alliance tries hard with their full wrathful characters to kill lvl 0-60 people to feel themselves "superior".
ay lmao
yesterday alliance premade has beaten all **** out of proteus shi!made on the EOTS
gues what hordes did afterwards ?
they went to Honor Hold and raped all lowbies around... as 8 man premade with 3 bis healers
><
maroon56 is right though. I'm leveling a Horde rogue on Lordaeron right now and Horde players barely queue for BGs because they're full of Alliance twinks (tried the 19, 29, 39 bracket so far - zero Horde twinks vs at least 2 Alliance twinks). So what can I do to get honor then? You guessed it - outdoor PvP. I get around 20-30 kills every day while leveling and after around 1h of play the Alliance dogs get mad and bring their mains to show "who's the boss". Of course, with me being a rogue, I just stealth around until they're gone and then continue killing.
It's very entertaining because most of the time I'm actually fighting 1v2, and it is rewarding at the same time because solo kills give much more honor than HKs in battlegrounds. As Horde usually loses all battlegrounds (I've only won once due to "not enough players"), you're basically wasting 20-30 min for 4 honor at the 30-39 bracket. At the same time one outdoor solokill is 4 honor. At the end of the day I end up with more honor from outdoor PvP than from battlegrounds. Yesterday I got my first HK achi (100 HKs) and no more than 5 of these total 100 HKs are from BGs.
Plus, it's very fun when they bring their 80s and start rampaging around and I just watch them from stealth. They look so helpless and desperate then, admitting "omg I can't kill this rogue, so now I'm gonna bring my main".
@vieiraj pls don't give me those PROTEUS ****heads as an example for PvP players. Also, Thrallmar is basically being camped NON-STOP. If I log right now and go to Thrallmar, it will probably be camped. You guys have an entire team of players, 60lvl, 70lvl twinks and even the regular 80-in-green-gear, who camp Thrallmar basically without rest.
Edited: July 27, 2016
You will be camped by few alliance players, not bis premade packed with healers.
Difference between potato and grenade.
I camp only ambushrats with my main: level difference + track hidden + eye pot = low lvl ambushrats are spotted within 100 yards, cant hide, cant run away, forced to log off and cry on forums.
Some of them log alliance and whimper about unfair pvp, donated gear, bad weather and similar excuses sad kids often use, but thats pretty funny to read, especially a part about unfair pvp - getting a kill of opponent who is surrounded by mobs and ambush takes 80% of the opponent health points ... i do not call that **** as fair pvp.
Edited: July 27, 2016
Yes, so being camped by a few alliance players non-stop is apparently better than getting killed once by a rage raid by PROTEUS. Okay, mate.
What's an ambushrat? Last night there was this gnome rogue 39lvl in STV Lordaeron, who was just stealthing around the hunters camp and ambushing people. If he couldn't one-shot them, he would sprint away and re-stealth. I don't know what your definition of an ambushrat is, but that one seemed pretty close. Again, GNOME rogue. Never had any problems escaping 80s. You're meeting some pretty bad rogues, I guess.
Getting killed by someone's main only because he got mad for being unable to 1v1 you on same-level chars is kind of unfair, don't you think? And pathetic on the 80's side. I never attack players who are fighting. Ever. There is a thing called honor among thieves and I am a proud rogue main. How is that my fault? That's just how Ambush works. If you want, you can move to Cata, where Ambush literally one-shots you on low-lvl. This is WotLK, I work hard to make sure I have the best available gear for my level, I run dungeons, I buy crafted gear and BoEs for my level, I get food, scrolls, I even get enchants from my friend who levels a character with enchanting on it. Overall, I always put a lot of effort and take good care of my characters, doesn't matter what class they are - rogues or otherwise. When people see me on any of my lowlvl characters, they often call me a twink, which I'm not - I just like my characters and take care for them during leveling, I don't simply rush leveling in green gear, then complain about getting killed by someone who's better geared than myself. So I think it's quite fair when I one-shot some random clothie scrub, who barely has any blues on him.
Although yes, of course it's more interesting if the ally is somewhat geared. I will pretty much attack anyone from green to orange level range. I don't mess around with greenies and abuse them, though - I just give them a quick death. I've seen many people, especially rogues, who will deliberately abuse and bully greenies, knowing that there is very little they can do. As for greys - I completely ignore them, unless they Xv1 a Horde player.

tnr1 Mate, don't listen to the others, they are trolling you! (Trust me bro, I camp horde almost for 11 hours everyday, I drink their tears as my only source of hydration.)
Best spot to farm horde, The top 5 zones are as follows: (As found in Horde_Statistics2016.pdf, which you can download at http://akk.li/pics/anne.jpg yourself... It will redirect you to the database where the statistics are updated every hour, so you can stay in the loop any time!)
5.) Eastern Plaguelands. This is an absolute hot spot, with Horde activity ranging from 28-35 players passing per 10 minutes; 70% of which are horde, due to the fact that the Horde actually have a chain quest in that zone that's engraved in the heart of many die-hard horde people. They will never give up the opportunity to complete this chain quest! Apparently it gives amazing Experience, and the gold reward doesn't scale correctly, so you get a huge amount of gold when doing it.
4.) Desolace. This speaks for itself, due to the fact that the zone is in Kalimdor and within close proximity of Orgrimmar. Most low levels, no matter their race, head to Orgrimmar at level 10-13, so that they can do Barrens/Thousand Needles/Desolace. It's a really convenient leveling pattern, and you will see once you go there: It's packed!
3.) Shadowmoon Valley. The fact that this is 3rd really tells you something about the 2nd or 1st spot- because Shadowmoon Valley is like a big field of grain, and let's just say the yield is excellent ;) The hordes refer this zone to Netherstorm or hitting Nagrand at a late level due to the fact that it provides much better gear-quality than that of its closest competitors. Check near Black Temple, their main questing camp frequently sends them that way, which is perfect for you/us, because we like 'em when they are grouped up ;) -FAN OF KNIVES GGEZ-
2.) Winterspring. Nuff said, this is actually considered as general knowledge to us gankers. All I can say is: Go there, and see for yourself why SOOOO many gankers absolutely love this zone! Like shooting monkeys in a barrel x)
and finally, 1.) ...
You guessed it, It's Azshara! Don't be swayed by the opinions of sheep, Become the predator you are made out to be, and go to the den of lambs and go help yourself to some low-level noobs ^^ Low levels prefer this place due to the fact that it is such a lore-rich zone, and it is actually seen as one of the quietest zones for Horde to level in without Alliance intervention. The noobish gankers just go to STV or Thrallmar, and then "OMG GG SO fun" Without even giving this beauty a chance! Azshara .... OMG I probably killed 80 low levels within a matter of an hour! (Most fun hour I've had ever since I microwaved my kid-sister's hamster ^_^)
So there you have it mate! Happy hunting ;)
