Technical "patch required" help

It gives me the "patch required" prompt and proceeds to boot the Blizzard downloader which tried to patch the game from 3.3.5 to 4.0.0.I downloaded the 3.3.5a client The new one not the old Wotlk.

you need to log-in by using warmane account name, not email address.
Be sure your client is still 3.3.5 otherwise you have to download it again

Also start the game from wow.exe not the launcher if exist.
