Wintergrasp

The last three times I have tried to join a Wintergrasp battle on Icecrown I seem to be getting problems, I make sure I join up with fifteen minutes to battle and then it starts my ping rate goes up and up and my internet connection dies, it is like someone is doing a DOS attack to prevent me from getting into a battle, there is probably little that can be done but I am interested if it is happening to other players.

Never happened and never heard of that issue.

Well I either have some unreasonable enemies or it is just a complete coincidence. I will see what happens next time I try.

Hmmm happening again, all fine right up till about one minute to go and bang, my router gets hammered and goes offline and I miss out on another round.

either you have a Terrible! luck, or you might have an add-on or a mistake in the client that is causing problems - ie, Capping is faking a raid warning 1 minute before start, but either it or something else (i delled quite a lot once without much looking at them xd) was causing me incredible fps drops... Just try, if this happens again, simply minimize wow and check connection with fbi.gov etc :)

Hmm was checking I.P. addresses on my last Wintergrasp that I actually managed to get into but then suffered problems during it and I came up with this 24.105.29.21, which turns out to be Blizzard, does anyone know if this version of the game communicates in anyway with blizzard?
