When I started playing Warmane, I didn't know jack about how to play wow, so I didn't know what Talent Trees were. When my friend told me about them, I didn't know what path to take, but then another guy who's really helpful (His name's Althrok, check him out) recommenced I go the Enhancement route. So far, it seems to be working really well for me, I don't die as much and I kill much quicker.
But a quick look through the forums shows the exact opposite. People are saying it's dying and that elemental is much better. Why don't people like Enhancement more?

Every buff they provide is covered by another spec that's MUCH better to have, and they don't have the personal DPS to compensate. Hell, even in a 10n where you could actually use an enhance shammy's buffs, I'd probably swap him out for a good MM hunter or ret any day.
Whereas ele still brings a unique buff, enhance provides no such thing.

I guess u mean enhance shami for pvp.
In BGs enhance shami is probably the worst damage dealer out there because u have no aoe dmg, low burst compared to other melee and bad survival abilitys.
Beeing in 40 man BGs as a enhance shami is really a nightmare...
When it comes to arena they are rather one of the weaker specs but still viable. Beast cleave (enhance+Bm hunter) is probably ur best combination.
Beast cleave in 3s (enhance, BM and Hpala) was one of the best setups during Furious and Relentless season but was nerfed in wrathful season and became unpopular.
On the other hand Enhance shami shines in duels. A skilled enhance shami can beat nearly every class in 1vs1.
Afer all i think that Wotlk is the most balanced expansion when it comes to PvP. Enhance shami is definitely one of the weaker specs but when u like it u can also be successful in it. On a higher rating u will struggle though.

Enha is great for leveling - I would even say, that its best shaman spec for it.
They are lacking dmg endgame. (I would say that it is mostly due to complicated priority list. - There are exceptions ofc, but they are rare.)

Probably because their damage still sucks? Could be wrong haven't played in over a year but Enhancement was realllllyyy bad about a year ago. Bottom on the charts I'd say. Unless they've gotten major fixes which I doubt, they probably still suck.

Haven't had any major fixes in a long time. That being said, our dps is far from terrible (16-18k), we just suffer from mobility fights. Are we bottom of the charts?, nah, not even close if the player knows what their doing and doesn't gem 20+ haste in every bloody gem slot.

I am 380ilvl and I pull about 15k dps no burst so I was reading about all rotations on other forums and saw that they don't use unleash weapon.in ever start of the fight I use lava shock unleash weapon lava blast and start casting lightning bolt.Cast Lava blast when up and if unleash weapon is off CD i use it before lava blast and earth shock at 7-9 stacks.So is it my rotation or what?

To answer ur question: its not worth to use unleash elements in pve because its low dmg isnt worth a global cd. Its worth to use unleash elements while moving though.Edited: May 27, 2015

In this xpac ehn was #1 Dps actually! my brother just got me playing warmane WOW but if it is just like normal panda land ehn will still be top dps..

Elemental is probbably one of top 3 specs in whole game in case of dps so yeah its really hard for enha to compete with it .But i think that enha. is coolest spec in game which is great in duels especially vs casters.

In pvp, enhancement is probably hardest class to master in wotlk, that being said you almost can't play it without mastering it, 1v1 there's no winning without outplaying every move enemy makes, not to mention it has some of the most mainstream counters such as warriors. 2v2 most comps you are the main support of the team meaning you have **** loads to do, which isn't for everyone, 3v3 is probably the best bracket for enhancement shamans, but still, enhancement is the class that does most work in most comps you play with. And on top of that if you're not playing on Blackrock, expect enhancement to be extremely bugged, from tremor that doesn't remove fear from your pets, Spirit Walk that doesn't remove Firefrost effect, and many more bugs if your enemy knows the bugs they can be easily abused leaving you almost no chance. Worst part is since no one plays it, they almost ignore the bug reports.

I loved to play with my enh sham, played this class over 3 years, it is weaker when you compare it to other classes, but if you master it, you can pull high damage and not stay on the lower charts of the dps meter(like a lot of people seem to think). People who start playing with this class, they stop playing with it quite quickly, because it won't show you any decent damage for a while. When i played on wotlk, i used to get compliments often, that i'm the first good enh sham they've seen, mostly because people stop playing with it when they reach 5.5k gs, oh and you can't make any mistakes in your rotation, it will cause immediate downfall of your dps. It is a fun class to play, but sadly it doesn't get much love.
