I have several characters on Neltharion but since I won't be playing Cataclysm anymore I decided to try and sell them via the Trade system, but the minimum price looks too high for anyone to buy them.
If there are any veterans here who can suggest ways to sell characters cheaper while still retaining appeal, please go ahead.
EDIT: Is it better to try and sell them with inventory and professions, mats etc., or just go no inventory?

minimum price depends on the items (moumt/gear/achiv not sure) you have on your char....
try removing your gears and see if it reduces the minimum price.
And you can advertise your char on global... but state that you will only trade via website in your advertisement, otherwise u will get ban.

Yeah, I deleted some useless gear and stuff and the price dropped significantly.
As for advertising in global, I've been careful not to spam too much.

You can advertisein global. But make it clear in advertisement that u trade via website only, otherwise u will get ban for character trading outside marketplace.
