So I back after some months and it seems that my hybrid spec no longer has edge over other specs, so i'm wondering if and how viable destro spec is now compared to other ones?
Demo : for raid buff . decent dps
Affi : More dps compared to demo but requires around 1600 haste . (no raid buff)
Destro : No raid buff . Lowest dps compared to affi and demo.
Personaly i prefer Demo for pve .
You got some numbers from DBS? I like to hear all numbers and differences between specs, because my info is very outdated ) back then hybrid was best dps spec followed by demo, other specs were shadows basically :)
Random test on dummy:
In case you can't see, it says 1.67M - 9.5k DPS
Overall, the time of this test was ~175s (almost 3mins).
My DPS wasn't too bursty or anything on dummy, it held from 9k to 10k at most times.
Destruction is in fact a very viable spec for PVE if you meet the following requirements:
1. Your ping isn't too high (in a range from 0 to ~250-300)
2. You already have a demonology warlock in your raid
3. You have some experience with the management of your own damage while moving
Destruction warlocks rely on raid buffs in a huge way, their DPS is extremely consistent and it is a spec which is actually capable of out-DPSing Affliction and Demonology warlocks (can't say too much about Hybrid locks, haven't seen those ever since the new core and I personally don't play hybrid myself). I actually managed to pull 18.5k~ DPS with destruction on DBS (HC). Assuming your rotation is perfect and you do not lag at all+can use potions during the fight, you can go as high as 19-20k.
I will provide more data when possible, but I highly recommend getting demonology spec as main spec and destruction as an off-spec regardless, if possible. While destruction is something new to try out, demonology is absolutely fantastic for raid and also does a considerably high DPS. Do note that the items you use for demonology are identical to the ones you'd want to use as a destruction so it is pretty much an ideal decision to go for demonology first, destruction second.
http://armory.warmane.com/character/...ecrown/summary - This is my armory, in case you want to check out the spec. Note that Glyph of Incinerate>Glyph of Immolate. My own Incinerate does from 45% up to 60% of my overall damage during the fight so I highly recommend to buff Incinerate with glyph as much as possible.
Edit: fixed some errors and mistakes.

Yeah destro suits my style so I will definitely try it. I got question about glyph of life tap for demos, is it really mandatory even when we got below 300 spirit unbuffed?
It is known that http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50077 and http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45780 are mandatory. Other choices are either http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45785 or http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=42453 or http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=42464. Let's quickly break it down here:
You only use incinerate when http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=47247 procs which means it isn't as reliable and/or effective most of the time.
You use Immolate pretty much every time and you want the spell to be on at least your main target nearly all the time, but let's take a second look at this Glyph - all it does is increase the damage of Immolate by barely 10%. Out of all the spells that are in our rotation, this is the only one that actually gets affected.
Now if we grab Glyph of Life Tap, we not only benefit every single spell of our rotation (Soul Fire/Shadowbolt/Incinerate/Immolate/Immolation aura/Corruption/Curse of Doom etc...) but also increase the overall spell power output of http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=47240 which leads to not only greater DPS personally, but also raid-wide.
Got some data from ICC 25 normal and RS 25 normal man mode. Sorry I couldn't provide data from some bosses, it's either I didn't think they were worth the attention (LDW, GSB, BQL, VDW) or I experienced some tech difficulties during fight (DC during Sindragosa encounter)
Most screenshots will display my DPS at the end of certain encounters, as well as the abilities that did damage bar.

Heraxion mate if you add to your rotation corruption your dps as destro will improve. Corruption is 2nd after Conflagrate at damage per cast time.
And if you recast it after you do Conflagrate it will always be with 6% more damage when Conflagrate crit.

To my knowledge Corruption has lower overall DPS than Incinerate or Chaos Bolt and it doesn't really benefit destruction all that much, its damage is minimum and it doesn't provide me any sort of proc (Molten Core or Nightfall). My rotation doesn't really include Corruption because it feels like it drops my DPS by a slight bit.
Nevertheless, I'll try it out both on dummy and raids and come back with another set of stats after a little while to see if it actually is better. Thank you for suggestion.
Edit: a quick test on dummy, re-casted Corruption every time it was off. Doesn't seem to benefit my DPS in any way and might even bring it down slightly it seems. Test lasted ~220s, in ideal scenario Corruption should have ticked 73 times but due to human-related factors it went down to 68. It is noteworthy that not only do I not run Quick Decay glyph, Corruption also doesn't crit, unlike Incinerate/Chaos Bolt/Immolate/Conflagrate. It isn't too much of a surprise that Corruption gets outperformed even by spells such as Shadowburn (if it crits).

Well you can see it yourself and compere. Average dmg on Corruption and Incinerate.
Quick test on hc dummy for 2.1 million damage
normal Incinerate - 7235 dps
crit Incinerate - 15367 dps
Corruption - 1294 dps x 6 hits per cast time - 7 764
For 3 sec without Backdraft we will cast 2 Incinerate if both hits:
normal - 14 470
crit - 30 734
for the same 3 sec we will cast 3 times Corruption and it will hit 18 times 23 292
With close to bis gear and raid buffs we have around 55% crit as destro so we can say that from 2 Incinerate one will crit and will not. Or 22 602 dps vs 23 292 for the same 3 sec spend casting. We have rng aspect so some times we will crit 2 times, sometimes we will hit 2 normal's in a row. So from 3 scenarios just 1 time there is a change to do more damage and 66% change to do less.
We dont cast Corruption every time is off we cast it right after Conflagrate and if Chaos Bolt is on cd.
I did shiit lots of testing on dummy before and there was not a single time when not using Corruption make me do more dps.
ps.If you are horde show me tomorrow may be i`m doing something not right. Because that makes me interest
