Technical Technical Difficulty with Strand of the Ancients

For some reason when I join Strand of the Ancients i get extreme pc lag impossible to play nowhere else do I get this kind of thing except in that specific BG as soon as i stepped into the shore from the ship my fps dropped from 120 to completely frozen. My pc is responsive meaning i can alt+tab and easily close the game but reloading wow doesn't help at all do you have any suggestion to why this could be happening?
