WotLK Addons make me lag

HeyGuys.

So I'm pretty new to server (Icecrown) and fixed some addons when I got level 80.
I got the standards ones for me (Gladius, interruptbar, Cooldown Count, Spellstealer etc), and a friend of mine told me to get "Lib: Ace2" and "Lib: Ace3" to "fix" addons.

These two addons "Lib: Ace2" and "Lib: Ace3" apparently makes the addons work, but they make the whole game have these minor freezes every 5 seconds and it actually lowers my fps too. I can disable the addons and the game will run smoothly.
So obviously I wouldn't normally use these addons, but ALOT of the addons that I use doesn't work without those two.
My friend uses a couple of addons and those two as well, he doesn't have a problem.
I just don't know what to do and will be very greatful if anyone has a solution.

When your game freezes every 5 seconds you should not assume your addons "work". They shure dont work as intended. The cause for lag and freezing can be everything or anythung and therefor you need to do some (boring) detective work to narrow down exactly which addon, part, setting or Lib is causing the problem by exchanging or enabeling and disabeling them individually and then testing if your game still freezes.

Also in Game Settings, check "Display LUA errors" in Help. This will show you if, when and why one of your addons is misbehaving by spamming (possibly) 1000's of errors per second. This will narrow down what is causing it, so you can address whichever addon is out of date or simply lacking something.

I forgot to mention I did actually try them seperatively, turn every addon off besides the Lib: Ace addons, and the game still lags and freezes.
I will definetely try the Lua Errors thing, and hopefully come back with an answer.

So how does this work for you guys? Do you have the addons and it works perfectly or do you not use them? And if not, do all of your addons work?

First, your friend knows nothing. Do not ever listen to that friend. Put him in ignore list.

Second, I have all addons that are working properly without "Ace2 /Ace3 /Lib." I use gladious and other useful addons and they all work without a problem.

I personally have random game freezes. It is random, it happens randomly, it happens most cases when I inspect people. My game would freeze for 2 seconds. It happens when I move a lot around a place that has people in it or NPCs. It happens often right after I restart / shutdown my laptop. So I made too many researches about this issue of mine. I tried deleting and disabling addons and it still exist. So I think the only reason is because I am using laptop, it heats faster, and not the best spec around.

This is so weird, some of my addons actually don't work without them.
And yeah it's probably your laptop, I myself very recently bought a £2.4k~ computer and should not, like ever, be having freeze lags in WoW.
Some BGs that I played I actually barely had 1 fps, I cannot use Lib: Ace addons. So weird :/
