Is Shaman worth playing in MoP?

I'm sitting in character creation just trying to decide between my class and I've been stuck between warrior, paladin, and shaman.
I like dps but I'm not sure which one is the most fun, anyone know the answer to which is the funnest?

Clearly never seen a good shaman.
The amount of support an elemental shaman brings to a team is undeniable.
Peeling, insane healing through Ancestral Guidance + Chain Lightning, great spread pressure, Roots, Thunderstorm.. give him Symbiosis from a druid then you have Solar Beam.
Not to mention highest single target burst ingame.

I used to love trolling warriors, facemelting everyone and just general awesomeness. I miss my Ele Shaman.

Shamans are pretty fun to play. I don't play Ele nor Resto specs, but Kemii already covered the Ele part. I'd love to play Ele sometime if I weren't so lazy.

As an Enhance shaman, you can keep nice 1v1 pressure on the enemy, have quite a bit of survivality and can delete stuff when you burst.
Main issue you'll have is being slowed down a lot by Hunters, Frost Mages and Druids. Enhance suffers a bunch from slows unless you're specced into Windwalk and Call of the elements.

But overall, if you want a fun class and spec, Enhancement Shamans are one of them.

Shaman isn't bad until WoD.

Partnered with a shaman once to cap conquest points-- we won every single match like it was nothing. Don't poo-poo shamans until you meet one who can actually play.

I used to main shaman, all their specs are kick-*** in MoP.
I really don't see what you people are complaining about.

I havn't leveled one to 100 yet, but i often see shamanstopping bg dps charts.
So it cannot be that bad.

As it was on retail:

Resto shamans are gods and extremely strong everywhere. Mops was all about druid/mage+x (spriest, rogue, war, ...) vs shaman/lock + x (or shaman/goat + x in earlier patches)00.

Enh shamans, extremely boring but all around ok. Absurd burst but not that much else.

ELe shamans, amazing in (r)bgs. Horrible in duels, horrible in 2s (like garbage). Amazing in 3s, lsd was super strong and iirc monk thunder was great too.
