It's not that either is better, it's whichever you prefer, and how you use it.

Some people use EPGP without decay, and people believe it becomes "unfair". Some use it with decay and some players still find it unfair. Some like it either way.

Edit: I should add that DKP is generally easier for your raiders to understand, so possibly just go with that.

However, in DKP vs. EPGP, EPGP is the more fair of the loot systems. However, it can still be abused, and everyone that uses it here that I've seen doesn't use it properly - which leaves gaps for even more abuse.

But I guess it's personal preference, I've always gone for DKP (/w decay if possible) over say LC, which, even in a group of great friends, can still be abused

In my opinion, DKP is the most fair and less abusable. I'm not a PvE guy, I have very low experience with raiding, and I may sound like a person who has no clue what he's saying, however, Loot Council will definately give issues around as there's usually someone protesting when not getting the loot, as it usually goes to the guy who's more "friend" of master looter or whatever, you know, sometimes there's this tendency, and then, guild dramas. About EPGP I can't say anything, I don't know how that works, but as I can see, it has few cons. In DKP there're points to distribute for those who participated in boss kills (and wipes too idk, depends on the guild), so the more boss kills you have the better chances you'll have to get one item.

In my opinion EPGP , but if choose system in guild best is Loot council , don't ask why , simple answer , raid leader decide who have to get items , and i gues its best choose if you are in good guild for leader selecting which players is more worth for items . I played in retail that system was perfect to me .
