WotLK Patch update??

I've downloaded the WOTLK,then i used my email and code to log in and then some rly fast update started(a few seconds)...when it was over a message came up saying that i need to download the patch(patch missing or something).It had an option (a button to puss) saying u will leave WoW and start downloading the patch...i pressed it and a new window came up now it was saying that 0 bites of 73MB...so i assumed that it will start downloading the patch, but instead it says the tracker is not responding...a friend of mine who download the game could play the same moment(no need of patch download or anything)...so i wanna ask,what is happening and what i have to do??? :)
