Hello, I took a break about 5 months ago, and I recently came back, idk if it's just me, but I noticed a huge dps decrease for almost all classes, for example, I have screenshots of my BiS hunter, BiS mage, and BiS warlock all doing between 16-19k DPS mostly in VoA 25 (frost boss), and in ToC 25 (Jaraxxus), since then i've done about 10+ VoA's and ToC's, and mine and other people's dps is about 5-6k dps lower than what it was 5 months ago. I also tested on the target dummy, and I used to do several thousand more dps than I do now aswell. Has there been a change that I am not aware of? thanks for the help.

Probably a thing called "fixes" or you forgot how to play your characters o-o

I'm playing my characters the exact same way, and I would like to know what fixes there was, because a 5-7k dps decrease is huge, it shouldn't be like that.

I don't know about Warlocks specifically, but there have been a variety of fixes for both Mages and Hunters since you last played. They are much more closer now to what they are supposed to be, than what they were in the past.

The core-update happened. The old core had a lot of bugs like buff-stacking, bosses not having any partial resistance capability, and other similiar bugs in addition to a handful of class-specific bugs that severely inflated DPS across the board.
The fixes on the new core toned that absurdity down a lot, to much more Blizz-like numbers.

I am almost entirely sure that I was doing that dps after the new core, there definately wasn't buff stacking, so I have no idea.
