What happens to my main client AKA My Blizzard-Owned servers? I heard you had to delete a realmlist to insert the new ones. Is it possible I could play both Warmane and my regular one at the same time?

Actually, you can only do that more or less with a pserver that runs the same version as the blizzard one.
But if you want to play on say a previous expansion you need to download the client for that expansion.
You will have to download a new, separate client (depending on what expansion you want to play). Your retail client will not be affected at all and you can click and play retail anytime you want as normal. The Warmane WoW client will be in a separate folder which you can launch and play like any other game. So yeah you can play either without changing a thing.
Hope this helps
You can have both as long as the retail wow is in it's default location and the download for the private server one is in a different location. If you try to put it in the default location where the retail one is, the newer retail stuff will forcibly overwrite the private server stuff.
Probably also a good idea to NOT have the retail wow stuff running, even in the taskbar, at the same time you open the the private server's program
Blizzard can't do **** even if you run two clients at the same time.
Okay, so instead of having my new Warmane folder in Program Files (x86) with WoW, I just put it in Program Files. Is that safe enough before I install it?
It really doesn't matter where you install it.
