Technical add-ons not accessible

I downloaded the mop 5.4.8 client following the link on this site. I've downloaded a few add-ons, put them in the interface/addons folder, and unzipped them as I've done several times before.

I don't have an add-on button at character select nor do I have any add-on control in any in-game menus. Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to just download another client from somewhere else?

Make sure they match your client version.
The procedure you are doing seems to be alright, also check that extracted addOns are creating a folder with their name (rather than extracting their files on the root folder).

Yeah, each addon is extracted into its own folder in the root directory. The versions are compatible w/ 5.4.8 otherwise I'd get an out-of-date warning in the addons list. The prob is I'm just not getting that list in the first place. Thx for ur reply
