    Shadow priest and soulshifter vortex

    So, I'm playing a shadow priest in cata and I'd like to know if the Soulshifter Vortex is useful in any way for pvp (I just won it)

    I know you can prepot it with the night elf racial but I'm unsure what kiind of uses it could have both in pvp and pve

    Mastery as a shadow priest increases your damage done by shadow orbs by 12.5%. Each point of mastery increases that damage by 1.45%.

    Without the use of soulshifter you can crit other players with Mind Blast for 90k+ and with it even more. Mastery only servers good as follow:

    MSx2> SWP> MFx3orbs > Angels+trinket>MB>MSx1 or x2> SWP>DP>VT>MFx2or3orbs>MB.
