What would be the point of making an official announcement if we went around answering everyone who asks for information beforehand? The whole point is: there's no need to ask, we didn't forget about releasing the information, and when it becomes public it will be in an announcement, to everyone at the same time, which any player can easily find and read, not in reply to topics most people might not even bother reading.

We hold special events in-game and in the Forums to celebrate certain holidays. For Christmas we've had events involving Snowman and cow enemies in the past.
