just wondering how this really works, as the 100€ donation has an increase of ~14% coins. please explain the formula you use for this :)

Donating 30 euros (38 coins) gave me 41 coins. Not sure how this works tbh.

You don't see the bonus until after you donate. It says 38 coins for 30 euro here too. You get it after you donate.

that bonus is the regular "rank bonus" i.e the donation rank bonus. not the one im talking about, which is the "holiday bonus".

I'm exalted and I see 38 coins for 30 euro too. And I only got 3 extra coins for being exalted donating 30 euros now during the holiday bonus.
3 coins is not even 10% of that. Where did my holiday bonus go?
