Eyo. I'm Zydrate. I've been playing WoW since about a month into Burning Crusade's release. Basically right next to vanilla, I was around for all the old things like hunter ammo/quivers, weapon skills, and so on. I don't miss a lot of that but I'm here for a couple of reasons.
Main reason? Money ran out. I quit my job six months ago due to my mother's kidney failure and being put on dialysis(sp?). But now that I've gotten her routine down I'm hunting again (Even reapplied to my old job, fingers crossed!)
Second reason is that Watchtower Gaming, a gamer community who's discord I help moderate, has recently poured into this server. I am also here because Wrath was always a personal golden age of WoW for me. Wrath was the first expansion I managed to hit level cap (What was I doing during all that BC time? Alt-ing around, roleplaying, and just not leveling in general), first time I began raiding, earning money, got myself the chopper mount which was my first 'big' investment in the game, ever. Lots of good memories in Wrath.
On Blizzard's live servers I boast four 110's, two or three 100's, and then a drop down to some 70's and maybe a level 10 druid I never bother with. I main a Death Knight (As I always have since Wrath) and plan to here, but the same level 55 requirement seems to be retained here which makes me a little sad. The 7x exp helps so I'll be leveling a paladin before being permanently affixed to a Death Knight.
I technically have enough gold to buy one more month but I did that last month and played for a single day. As it stands, I feel like there's not TOO much for me to actually do right now. Therefore, here I am.
Welcome to Warmane fellow altoholic ! Vet retail player here too. Been playing since 2006 or so, a few months before TBC released. Enjoy your time in Azeroth and if you even go play on Lordaeron, give me a shout!
