1. Semi new to Wow and would like guidence

Greetings. I've come from another private server, very buggy and bad scripting. Although i did manage to play a few Classes and druid is one of the classes that i maxed level on, Along with paladin, Rogue and warrior. However that was Mist of Pandaria expansion.

So, a friend recommended trying Warmane and i've seen some awesome reviews about this place. Of course i've joined Wrath of the lich king expansion and that means classes, stats, gear ect will be different.

So i have a few Questions and hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction(Not interested in PvP):

    1. I'm semi-New to wow, What classes are Preferred/easy to get into raid groups with

    2. What would be a good class to start out on to learn Mechanics and gameplay ect?

    3. I did really enjoy playing Paladin, what's their stance in Warmane and Lich expansion?

    4. If you could recommend any class to play, why would you recommend it?

    5. What realm in the Lich expansion is mostly PvE?

Sorry for all the Questions. Appreciate your time!

  2. 1. Paladin has a very good ratio of difficult (easy) vs. raid usefulness (brings a tons of buffs, and being strong altogether). People look down on it as "the easy/noob class", but it does offer a lot of depth and people always love to have at least one of them in their raid (regardless of spec).
Marksman Hunter is also fairly easy to play and is pretty popular for raid comps.
There are a fair number of "really easy" specs to play, but they aren't nearly as popular for raid compositions.

    2. Honestly, I would encourage you to eventually play a ranged DPS, melee DPS, a tank and a healer. Eventually, of course. Not all at once. Doing one of each and learning how to play them and how they work will teach you a lot about how a variety of players play the game and how some things work, allowing you to make the lives of other players around you easier.
As for which to choose based on mechanics, many of the specs have a variety of mechanics that are unique to spec or class. So it's hard to say, really. I'd have to stay refer to #1 for a starting point.

    3. One of the most well-rounded and strong classes in the game. PvE-wise, anyways. All 3 specs are something your average raid leader would love to have. Not necessarily all at the same time for smaller raids, but still.

    4. I'd have to say Arms Warrior or Mage in PvP. Largely because of how they play and how difficult they can be to master. Also, if you plan on PvPing, I'd strong recommend having at least one healer character that you enjoy to PvP on - there are never enough healers for battlegrounds.

    5. There isn't a "PvE realm". Both have strong PvE communities, that is for sure.

Thank you so much for the reply! Very informative and helpful! Although i realized that all the realms are PvP so i'm assuming i can be killed/ganked during Questing ect. However, is it possible to always keep PvP disabled always toggled unless i get flagged (I.e going to the opposite allience territory)? Or will i just have to put up with getting killed ect?

There's no way to disable it. You'll probably get ganked quite a bit.

  5. 1.Mage or hunter , real easy to get ! btw shamans also but they r not meant to b easy play style
2.hunter or a holy pala (just healing paper tanks all the way and yeah valithra :P)
3.btw i started as pala , so its the most easiest and versatile in raids , LoH maybe :D
4.priest - killer dmg ratio , they dont have hard playstyle ,but i would rate moderate playstyle , always find sweet spot in raid or boomkin , just bang the keys with eclipse procs and all the way with starfall ,
or go with a warrior with sm and pull the aggro :D
5.both realms posses pvp , but are balanced in both way
