1. Icecrown ping

Hello! So nostalgia came around with Christmas, and my cousin and I have been looking for some WoTLK server to get back into WoW. We'd really like to play in Icecrown, but from what we've seen we'd get 140 ms there. We live in Europe (Spain), and in other servers, like Lordaeron, we get 62 ping. Is there a solution/ reason for this? Is Icecrown server located in a different place? Is it because of the server population? And ultimately, is there a way to fix it?

There's nothing we'd love more than to start the grind and head straight into 2v2 arena, but 140 ping would be way too much I think. Hopefully you guys can shed some light. Have a good day!

You're kidding right? There is no noticeable delay at all with 140 ms, there is really no difference between that and 60 ms.

  3. 140 ms in a competitive level it's totally unplayable. But we don't really notice the 140 ms in arena it's just a bit annoying.

The kicks are fairly responsive so i think it's not a real 140ms.
