I am an old warmane player. I used to play molten too before it became LOLten. Anyway, since I quit playing warmane I've been playing retail WoW. I am currently playing legion, doing mythic NH and stuff, but I watched a youtube video that reminded me of the perks of private servers, things I miss like the feeling on completion when you get bis gear, how your character stays relevant after a few months of absence, etc.
I have been playing cataclysm for at least 5 years, and I now feel like I want to try something new (sort of-I played a bit of lich king when I was released). I'm thinking about making a mage on Icecrown and I would very much like to join a raiding guild. I want to raid heroic ICC on 25 man.
Also, if any of you has the time, tell me more about your opinion on the realm. Is it bugg free? Are the achievements working? How you like it here?
Looking forward to making some new friends.
Cheers!
Bugs happen on and off. As you know from Molten, they fix one thing and break another pretty often. Classes are for the most part working, except for less played specs such as blood dk DRW. Currently, I believe the only major bug that effects heroic raiding is having 2 dragons visually in phase 3 of RS 25 hc.
Most achievements work, many committed players are over 10k in ach pts. Realm itself is pretty mature as far as gear/raiding goes, with many guilds on both horde and ally clearing Icc 25 hc and RS 25hc on a regular basis. Guilds like Favourite Nightmare are even doing 7 25 hc and 11 rs 25 hc which on molten would have been unheard of.
If you want to say which class/spec you're looking to play and when you're trying to raid, might help us suggest the right fit.
