Whats the point of character trade? I mean prices are way too high, does someone even buy from there? Why would you spend 5x times more money when you can donate?

Well to be honest I am thinking of buying a max level druid as for those extra 10 coins I can get some nice gold, the ashen verdict ring and full professions. And sometimes you do not spend more money when you donate, as long as you choose chars with bis items only. Only these get sold anyway.

I was wondering if ppl really buy those naked lvl 80's, lol.
Or chars that cost 1000+ coins... I mean you can buy full BiS gear in the shop for less than 400 coins.

I know I wouldn`t. If they are naked with proffesions and some gold on their account and ashen verdict rep, sure, i will buy. Idk if anyone would buy a 1000+ coins char only for the achievements and proffs and all that if they can find a naked toon with the same number of achievements. Idk, maybe some would buy LOD toons for the sake of the title.

What about Lordaeron characters? Are they bought? I've been with one on sell for the last two weeks or so and nothing.

Yes to both questions for Lordaeron Realm.
On Icecrown, not sure if it is worth it, because of 7x Xp and 5x rate for gold drop and you can donate for max level and BiS gear. It all depends on what the players needs are.
They do sell on Lordaeron Realm since you can not donate to get a Max character or Full BiS. It does take awhile to sell, but you have to find the right buyer out there. "It's also a legal and safe way to obtain a character."
Some players that do not have the time to level a character or just want that extra one that already has max professions,rep, riding, decent gear or no gear and gold helps. At 1x rate it saves allot and is well worth the prices.
