Rates

I've seen some people discussing whether the rates should be lowered, raised, etc., and was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature which I've seen on at least one other server: the ability to change your account exp/drop rates down to 1x(or, anything up to the realm maximum).

I know that I am personally more interested in playing at 1x, and I know other people are interested in this, as well. This would be a relatively simple compromise for the people who want to play at higher rates and the people who want to play at lower rates.

I may be in the minority when I say that I prefer the leveling process to the end-game, mostly, but, I would hope this is not a difficult request to fulfill, and thus could receive legitimate consideration. Note: I am primarily asking this with regards to Cata/MoP, since Lordaeron already exists, thus negating any concern for WotLK.

i think doing this for cataclysm/mop is bad , since its hard to lvl without the x7 , however it could be nice if they do this on icecrown , the ability to change exp to x7/x6/x5/x4/x3/x2/x1 , since most quests is fixed <3 , just to enjoy a blizzlike experience, nice suggestion

Yeah, I suppose broken quests would be problematic in cata/mop, but, then, that's why I suggest having the ability to turn it back up if you desire. It helps mitigate any exp-related issues.
