So today i got home from school all happy that im gonna do some daily HC and generally relax with WoW, when suddenly, BAN!
"Your account has been terminated due to Advertising" WHAT?
What "Advertising" ? I have no idea what is going on, i never advertised anything, anything at all. Is there someone who can tell me what is this bulls*** ?
I cant belive i played for so many hours to get banned for no god damn reason at all..
I feel Disappointed, i thought this was supposed to be THE private server you go to for WoW, guess not
P.S. I did submit an appeal, but 20h with no response

ban appeals have the lowest priority, could take a couple days to get a reply.

This just happened to me as well. Same thing, both my accounts banned for 2 months because of advertising.

I dont know, i cant even submit an appeal because there is no existing bans to select. I have no idea what the hell happened.

If you had the ban appeal option, the ban was issued to your account by a GM. Advertisement bans have no expiration date and, as said, are issued to the account, so whether it was you or someone else using your account (be it because of sharing or poor security measures) is irrelevant.
If the option for a ban appeal doesn't shows you likely are using a VPN, Proxy or IP that has been banned for consistently being used to break our rules. Restarting your router and not using such VPN/Proxy should solve it by getting you a new IP.

No i didnt share accounts and there are no poor security measures at my side at least, i would like a screenshot or some sort of proof, i did nothing wrong and im sure this is a mistake

Well, I can tell you two things: no one hacked our database and cracked the encryption on account information for the sole purpose of using your account to advertise, and no screenshot will be provided to your, be it one used in making a report or of something directly witnessed by a GM. When your turn comes for your ticket to be answered, the ban will be reviewed, IPs used to login will be checked, and depending on the conclusions reached your account might be unbanned or not. Posting about bans in the Forums will either get you an infraction or, depending on the content and insistence, a ban here as well.

Well i can tell you two things as well:
1) I posted here to get some clarity, since i got no information/explanation referring my ban, i call total bull**** on this
2) I find your replies to be very hostile and ignorant, like my life depends on your server, threatening me with a ban on forum..
I invested a lot of my free time here only to get banned on some false accusations and to get treated so rudly here on forum as well
