So...uhummm...Where are my characters?

Greeting all, Im making a come back to WOW after almost a 703 days absence for work and school and other stuff.

Right now im downloading the client but, Oddly I cant see any of my characters.

Was there a second character wipe or is there some way we can go about recovering them?

No, I was there when that hack occured, i'd already recovered my characters and everything then.
Im missing those new ones.

I guess you are former deathwing or ragnaros player? We have a server merge into Icecrown. It probably require you to transfer your toon manually into the icecrown realm.

Did anyone lose gear when this happened? I lost all my DPS gear, or rather, some gear not equipped on toon. I've not been on in 4 months and when I came back it was gone.
