1. Nostalgia Overwhelming

So I had to join warmane because after watching a few reviews it seemed generally the place for me. I based this on reports of how bug-free things are as well as general satisfaction I saw from reviews. But I do have one major question, why is the low rate server considered so hardcore with their 250x health and buffed damage stuff? :C

I currently have a character on both primary servers (mainly because apparently when I'm online the server hits a general downtime on Icecrown) and I can't keep up gold costs for my skill leveling. x.x I'm hoping the enhanced leveling doesn't diminish the leveling process satisfaction. I kind of wish it was just super-leveling until like 65 or something. Ah well, I'm one of those random oldies that quit when patch 4.0.0 dropped anyway.

Just so long as Wintergrasp, Ulduar, Sholazar Basin, and Storm Peaks are in top condition then I will spend hours just flying through those zones (as well as fishing in Dalaran's cistern).

On a side note how does the enhanced gold gain from mobs affect the marketplace? Also, speaking of money issues if anyone's feeling generous. . .

  2. Also, a small issue. More or less just an inconvenience.
the game doesn't save my settings when I enter new options for graphics and doesn't save my username at all... how do I fix that?

  3. Hello AshenHazeXV,

We call the Lordaeron realm "hardcore" because we had to classify it as something due to choosing to make certain modifications to the realm to make the experience more challenging and less convenient.

As for your gold situation for leveling on Icecrown, I would encourage you to gather materials while you're leveling (BoE green items, cloth, etc.) and put them on the Auction House. The effect it has on the economy is just slightly higher numbers across the board from what you'd see on Lordaeron. It doesn't cause any real problems to my knowledge.

Lastly, about the game saving your settings, are you closing the game by Alt+F4, pressing the red X, or by using the "quit" buttons? If you aren't doing the latter, I'd advise using that route.

    Welcome to Warmane!

  4. Wow needs to be run as ''admin'' to keep everything in order,
''clic Right'' on your exec use "run as administrator"" and no more problem
    or "clic R" » property» check run as admin , same^^

  5. Are the large event PvP locations (like Wintergrasp) healthy on lordaeron?

  7. Right click properties and uncheck "read only"
    I had the same issue
