Its offical, Warmane gonna make a TBC realm!
Lets discuss the pros and cons of TBC compared to Wotlk boxing.
Pro:
- http://tbc.openwow.com/spell=2825 has no cd in TBC.
- Totem of Wrath stacks
- There are no push backs in TBC. A big game changer for PvP boxing! No thunderstorm, no Typhoon, no Death grip, no way to split a multiboxer up.
- Shockadin boxing might be a thing.
Con:
- All totems are only party wide
- BL is only party wide
- No IWT. While CTM is available in TBC, IWT isn't. It makes multiboxing melee hard if not unviable. Maybe we can find a work around?!
- No http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=35352. There is a different quest item called http://tbc.openwow.com/item=30175 to face targets but it has only 20 yards range.
- No wild growth. Our best healing spell isn't available in TBC so I'm not sure if Druide healer would be the best choice.
Ele shamis can spec into http://tbc.openwow.com/spell=16188 though for a instant chain heal.
My point of view:
I think ele shami boxing on TBC gonna be even better than on Wotlk. Stacking totems and no cd on BL sounds really strong.
There is no lava burst in TBC but when i watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0LjMgb0mw8 lb, cl and es seem to hit so hard that its enough to global opponents with only 4 shamis.
ill definetly want to try things out, i have never tryed tbc myself, so im pretty excited. i am atm trying to think things thru, as of what comp to go for and how painful the gearing will be xD
P.S thanks for info, that was very informative, as i didnt knew what exactly to expect.xD
Great discussion opportunity. looking forward to re-living my TBC days, and Kara... oh Kara....I have to admit that team comps do have me straining to remember class strengths I'll have to dig to see what boxers were doing back then. myself i just ran 3 locks... if memory serves burst was good with Destro though. Demo, was ok, but the Felguard was everything, so if you lost that your dps went with it.

Hey, Warmane staff, if you want to keep Outland forums clean and neat, better make a sub-forum called Jar of tears where all the people crying about multiboxing can write their novels but they don't get to pollute actual forums.
I sure can't wait to see all those comments.
It's so tempting to start up the first <Ohdo> multiboxing crew.

even tho its a troll, but if for a sec taking this seriously, it would never work, as people are too noob to keep it civilized and they would keep making threads litteraly everywhere across the forum.
Did some testing on a other TBC server.
Regarding shamis:
- All totems are only party wide
- Bl is only party wide.
- Totems of different ranks stack.
- There are totems to reduce range and melee dmg taken. They stack which makes the dmg reduction huge.
Ill most likely multibox 4 ele shamis and a healer.
Its hard to tell which healer would work the best. Druide has no aoe heal, holy priest has with http://tbc.openwow.com/spell=34866 the best aoe heal but not sure if holy works good in pvp. Holy paly seems to heal like a wet noodle and resto shami is kinda counterproductive when i have already 4 ele shamis.
Indeed.
I'm curious how diminishing returns would behave when http://tbc.openwow.com/item=28442 procs multiple times. The opponent might be immun to stuns after the first 4 sec when the stuns overwrite each other.
