1-2 years ago when tons of players were begging to bring 1x wotlk back,all we could hear was "warmane is moving forward",then suddenly you changed your mind and voila,lordaeron risen up.Then a bit later next begging wave started,asking for vanilla/tbc(you were saying the same moving forward thing again and that vanilla and tbc is never going to happen on warmane),and now tbc realm is going to open too.
I'm just curious,what changed?

You should look at it as "doing at our own time, at our own pace, and avoiding the demands and complains that would come from the community if we declared we would work on Burning Crusade publicly."

You would be right about that. Altho i am trying to motivate myself and learn some form or programming. I just hope the TBC realm wont drain resources from other realms. Unless you did some cloneing of your developers.

Yes because the promised focus was WOTLK>MOP>Cata and now it could be WOTLK>TBC>MOP>Cata. Like ive said before, unless they have cloned their developers a dozen times MOP and Cata will suffer because of the new realm.

Seriously, most of the people who are happy about TBC are wotlk players who like to play xpacs with one shot spells?! Yet they call the expansions that have better pvp and more balanced pvp (5.4.8 i mean) than wotlk and tbc as "dog**** xpac". As setis stated MoP was promised to get some attention after lordaeron reach to the condition warmane expects, but now they want to release TBC... it is right that wotlk has higher population but there are players at mop and cata still, if you were planning to stop paying them attention it would be better to tell them right after the moltdown so they would not waste their time here.

My point? 20k players on lk, 2k players on mop 600 players on Cata. It's a Business. 20k player have more "donation potential" than 600 player. Even if TBC Realm gets 5k player, it will be more profitable than cata + mop together for sure.

And the only reason wotlk has so many players is because it get updates often. If Mop and Cata were the same quality as WOTLK (in terms of bug fixes) they would have a much higher population.
