70-79 twink guilds: What happens post TBC release?

I was twinking this bracket during retail back in the day for all the reasons why many love it here. Sadly, I literally just found out through reading some posts here that Warmane actually has an active 79 community. I'd like to roll a new character for this bracket, but given that the BC server is going to be up in less than two weeks, I don't know if it's worth it. I saw some posts saying some guilds were going to reroll on BC

Since there hasn't been a definitive post about this, I'm wondering if the bracket will survive once the new server is up. If the answer is no, what bracket is everyone planning to twink on BC? Given that 60-69 pretty much becomes the new 79s, I'm assuming that's where everyone will go.

Can some 79 GMs speak up on what their plans are?

Is it worth rolling for 79? Or wait for BC to launch and roll 69?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hello FierceKick, i can't talk on hypers behalf and i wont, but i think he said that he wouldnt go tbc. but i think MANY will. if 70-79 survives tbc launch it's a christams miracle

You'll probably just see less 70s in BGs. Shouldn't affect 78-79s as much.

What bracket 70s plan to go after TBC reroll? We'd love to see horde at 29 or 39 for competion sake

    Hello there fellas!

70-79 on Icecrown has never been so active like it is nowdays, sadly, Alliance lacks on twinks and that's why some guys wanted to try the tbc realm, but not me, I'm stick to this expansion even if twinking dies, I can go pve 80 or something else, but that's just in the case it dies which I doubt.

Now, if you are interested on twinking... good choice!! Do it! Try it! But please roll alliance!! Horde is so active they always look like they queue on premade :(

You can always catch any core officer/council or any of my chars online for an inv!

I'm really not interested in end game. PVE isn't really my thing.

I had a question about exp in BGs. Do people in this bracket have exp turned off? I saw that the active patch is 3.3.5 which already had XP in BGs. I remember when this hit in retail, twinking basically died because you eventually were forcefully leveled out of the bracket. At the same time, if you turned off exp, you basically weren't ever able to find games.

Hi fiercekick, if you turn off your exp on 79 you still join the same bgs, it's made for twinking, not like retail were twinks only would go up agaisnt eachother this switch only affects your exp nothing else. hope we'll see you here, 79 twinking is mini form of 80. it's very balanced i think you'd love when you say you want end game pvp.

Thanks for the reply man. Actually, I don't like end-game pvp lol. I prefer 79 because you have most skills/talents and don't have to worry so much about getting the best possible gear. I just like PvPing without having to worry about too large of a gear difference.

79 is the place for you then :) easy to gear, no worries about anyone wearing **** ton of better gear. hope we'll see you here

C'mon it's not really like that. At least the bgs I've played, alliance had a lot of twinks who weren't even in your core team.
We have some guys that suck, meanwhile you're getting better players.
So all in all, both sides need players.

As of right now, Alliance are in need of twinks, not Horde.
Although both factions welcome new people.
