TBC wow.exe getting deleted by antivirus
I just dled TBC and tried to run the client but wow.exe got deleted by my antivir, i play wotlk and this isnt happening.
Is it coz this isnt the final client ?
Anything we can do to fix this ? i wouldn't like to have the same issue 20th may =)
(i know i can just disable my antivirus but this is not supposed to be how things work)
Thanks!

You don't have to disable your antivirus. You can just add an exception. The included Wow.exe seems to be modified since its signature is not valid but that alone should not make your antivirus delete it without asking anything.

So the available client is the final one?
Thx for the reply.

It most likely is. If it worked properly on test realm then there is no reason to change it unless they want to add new character models later. It should be a regular TBC client. Not sure why even Wow.exe is modified but it works so it's most likely going to stay that way.

Depends on where you downloaded it. It might be the original wow.exe which was "upgraded" with ransomware and a trojan installer.

I downloaded it from warmane download section through bittorrent...
