    hey

i played tbc on retail rogue and on vanilla private servers (all classes) warrior as well

for rogue assasination if iremember correctly is only for pvp coz it needs poisons to be aplied to do the real damage its more of a spec either 1vs1 or

healer+ rogue (disc) 2vs2 and kinda ok for 3vs3 tho sub is better if i remember correctly also it wasent the best spec for a rogue in the last patch and they had nerfed the 10% damage reduction

combat is full pve and lvling spec use only combat and after you the the important points you can switch to assasination for crit etc

    also rogues raid spec

sublety is the pvp CC spec with less sustain damage but better mobility and stealthplay /burst and max cc Usualy the spec for 2vs2 with an other dps like mage or rogue mage priest 3VS3

compare to a warrior its a bit easyer you can say but both hard to master with high skill cap it for warrs it may not look like it but they do have quite a lot of tricks and depth but its a difrent playstyle (for pvp im talking about only)

also keep in mind that in the start with low resi as rogue you will feel more potent but when a lot of resilience come in to play it change and mistakes in arena cc mistakes or eating a fakecast are not forgiven that much

a warr is more straitforward class and in my opinion better when it comes to teamplay

also rogues relies too much on cooldowns especialy for sub and your antihealing poison(wound) can be dispeled by shamans druids paladins
