Yo! So I was just wondering (for those who are going to be playing on the TBC realm) how have you prepared for tomorrow's release?
I myself am mainly interested in what addons I should use to speed up the leveling process. Is Questhelper still the thing to go for? Are there any other improved addons for questing?
Is the current TBC version listed under downloads accurate for tomorrows release?
Will I use the same account I am using on the Wrath of the Lich King servers to log into the TBC realm?
Any other things I have to do, in order to be able to just log on and play the game at release?
These are my own concerns and I feel like a lot of players who are as stoked as I am for the TBC realm would like to know these things as well.
You might think most of these questions are pretty self explanatory, but I just want to be 100 % sure I've got everything right by tomorrow so I can simply just log on and play at the start of release.
2. I don't know too much about TBC addons. I haven't played the expansion since it was on live. The only addons I knew to use were AtlasLoot (items in the game), Omen (threat meter) and recount (damage and healing meter). However, I do know that WowAce does a good job at keeping old versions of addons listed. Perhaps check them out.
3. I have no idea. I've never used an addon for questing. Cheeses the game IMO. Besides, I've played this game long enough to know 95% (or more) of all the game's quests.
4. Yes. It is the accurate client version.
5. Yes, you will use the same account.
6. If you log in the client we have offered to download, once you have it downloaded, all you need to do is log in with your Warmane account information and create a character on the realm once it is live.
Thank you so much for the reply! You've been very helpful :)
As for the addons I just found this thread http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=350856
It has most of the standard addons along with Quest helper, if anyone else reading this post wants to check it out ;D
