    Advertising suggestions to benefit everyone

    Hello,

Pretty much everyone knows that Neltharion is going down more and more. Here is my suggestion to the problem: advertising.

Not only could it work for Cataclysm expansion but also for every other one. It would increase the overall population on Warmane's realms and would for sure increase the amount of money they receive since my few advertising suggestions are not expansive at all.

First things first, I think it would be important for Warmane to focus a bit more on social medias. They are barely even using Facebook/Twitter/Youtube. Right now, all we can see as "advertising" would be Twitch channels streaming on Warmane's home page. That's obviously not enough. Since Warmane doesn't want to join a "vote site" (for already stated reason), they should look for another way to advertise their contents.

1st: Let your community help you to help them.

    Spoiler: Show
As already stated, Warmane promote streaming channels on their homepage which is a good thing. A step forward would be to promote other videos of your community, like Youtube channels. Promoting specific contents like PvE, PvP, Leveling, Role Playing, etc. on other social medias like Facebook or Twitter would help YOU to get more people (by showing what your realms look like) and would help your community to get more popularity and, at the same time, bring more people to the realm. Everyone wins. All you need would be someone to take care of that on Facebook page (let’s be honest, Facebook page owner doesn’t even bother answering to private message so he/she would need help for sure) and it would benefit everyone.

I know there are already sharing sub-forums on Warmane’s forum, but that’s not enough. It shares community’s works with rest of the community which is not needed at all. We need to get NEW people. By advertising on Facebook, you can promote your own posts, videos, screenshots, news, etc. for few dollars only! It would appear as an ad to potential players and would for sure bring more people. Paying a bit to advertise a lot is worth it. You wouldn’t even have to make your own videos, so not a lot of time would be needed.

2nd: Use your social media more.

    Spoiler: Show
Youtube channel is almost empty and not used enough obviously. I know it takes time to record and edit videos, but it would be great to make a promoting videos of all your realms (with community’s contribution of course!). Also, people in general prefer to watch short videos instead of reading a long text; less efforts for the same knowledge. That being said, it would benefit you to put efforts in making videos for special releases (just like you did 1 month ago with TBC, that’s exactly the kind of thing you would need but for all your realms).

Same for Facebook page. You can promote your Youtube channel on Facebook, post screenshots or images that would promote yourself. Make a lottery based on Shares/Likes. That would REALLY increase the amount of people affected by your advertising.

You could also ask to your community for Likes on your Youtube channel/Facebook page in exchange of gifts. (ie. You have 4k subscribers on Youtube right now. Let’s say every time you get +1k subscribers, you gift 10 points to every active account). The possibilities are infinite. You can use your imagination and do it in a very original way or also do it in the old way with the example I gave. Everything suggested would 100% improve realm’s population.

Take this thread seriously; some realms are going down very very fast and now is not the time to give up. Please, don’t postpone those improvements to later. As I already stated, those suggestions would benefit BOTH staff and players.

So much to lose but so much more you can gain.
    GO FOR IT WARMANE!

+1, We should advertise to save those low populated realms from dying.

Yeah, especially now after tbc launch, even old players started leaving... quite sad to see realm go.
