Is it overtuned ?? I mean I'm level 8 fighting level 7 mobs, as a warlock and not only do my DOT's get resisted around 80% of the time, ALSO the periodic damage gets resisted..
I lose a imp, all my mana and hp to kill 1 lvl 7... whats going on?
EDIT: even now I just got resisted to curse of agony 8 times in a row...........cmon what is this ..
one thing is to be hard one thing is to play a class and can't do a simple mob killing 1v1...if i group up i do nothing anyway
Both situations are annoying and abnormal. I just suggest what you suggested to our problem.
Anyway, what are you killing? I have a mage and kobolds resist 2/3 of my fireballs as they have high fire resistance. On other mobs, it works just fine. Maybe those mobs has good shadow resist?

Yeh I suppose it was the kolkar having high resistance since on the rest of the mobs it worked fine (still high resist chance, but not 8 in a row...), but they also resisted immolate which is only fire, unless they also have high fire resistance...

Private servers don't have correct values on mobs. I don't know how such absurd values got there originally, but Kolkar centaurs in Durotar have 30 shadow and 70 fire resistance (picture from WotLK Trinitycore database but I think these incorrect values have been there since pretty much the beginning on WoW emulation). At that level it's pretty much resist cap. Suffice to say, the mobs shouldn't have capped resistances against appropriate level players (they shouldn't have any resistances).
