These perks are healthy and here's why.

Ok so hear's a thought that maybe you all can wrap your head around.

This is a catch-up mechanic for the allys. Think about it. They disabled making horde. Great! That helps in faction balancing. The problem is, youre going to have a ton of fresh max level allys, who will be behind everyone in terms of, Rep, gear, and gold.

These perks work two-fold, get people to play allys to balance the factions, and get them into outland and ready to do stuff faster to be on-par with the allys already there, and the 12k horde population that's been there from week one.

This helps both factions. The allys can progress faster to where the early adopters are already at, and the horde can actually have meaningful pvp that isnt a **** stomp because of a massive gear imbalance.

The whole point is to make End-game meaningful for everyone because that is where you are going to spend most of your time on the outland server.

So please. Take it with a grain of salt, and go with the flow.

Based on the faction balance graphs... id say they did a pretty good job. Looks like Horde is only really like 10-15% higher than alliance now. Plus those sweet perks were enough to get me to make the switch. Guess im hunting horde now!

How exactly am I a moron. also please counter my argument, with something other then name-calling.

Other forums already have countered it so there's no need to be redundant here.

Figured if I didn't tell you nobody else would.

They are countering it using feelings, feelings are opinions, opinions are not facts. They FEEL cheated in the short term, when in the long term its more healthy to give the fresh allys a boost. You FEEL I am a moron, when in fact I am not. It's your opinion of me.

Lastly, the fact that you do not wish to "be redundant here" fuels my opinion of you in which you are a pleb who can not form their own coherent thought, and therefore must rely on others to do your thinking for you.

    So Away with you pest.

Hes mad. Ignore him. I feel the benefits are a little excessive myself (and this is a big part of why I switched) but lets be honest. People that are like me and never have leveled alliance need a really strong shove to agree to make that kind of switch. GG Warmane, you might get faction balance for a while which is something I haven't seen on any TBC server.

You seem tense. Go take a bubble bath before you read the rest of what I am about to type.

If you must know why the perks are bad, here you go:
    1. The ratio will be fixed only in your hated short term. We will have the opposite problem in favor of alli in no time.
    2. You are in essence punishing Horde players for going with what they like by giving the opposite faction all sorts of benefits over them.
    3. New players cannot even make Horde characters and it is driving them away from the server. I for one will not play BC until I can be Horde.

I could go on, but chances are you're too stupid to understand. So if you want more, let me know. I'll be waiting for you with some soothing herbal tea.

HAHHAHAHA, The truth comes out..... I quote New players cannot even make Horde characters and it is driving them away from the server. I for one will not play BC until I can be Horde. So he doesn't even play here. Go figure.

OH NO, NEW PLAYERS ARE TURNED AWAY - What will we ever do with 15k most of the time online and it dipping rarely below 10k players on at the same time? The world (of warcraft) may die without them right now.

There you go! That's using your noggin! And you even have a well thought out and typed counter argument for me! Yay!

Let's break it down, in reverse, because point 3 ties into point 1.

    3. I wholly agree with you on this fact. The perks and the restriction of horde characters are mutually exclusive. I feel you can not have both because it will cause a problem as you stated in point 1. So removing the restriction is the better option.

    2. In your opinion, what is more punishing? Having one faction that, while having perks that the other doesnt, and said perks do not give a power increase too? Or one faction, that will have nothing to do in a core aspect of the game, such as PvP battlegrounds.

From what I could tell, battleground queues at max level were very very long for the horde. While the inverse for allys was that questing, and doing dailies were very hard and took a lot of time from being ganked constantly. And both side were having a piss poor time with it all.

    1. I feel this can be mitigated with the point we made in point 3, because as you stated, even with the perks, you still want to roll horde. And I know of several people who feel the same way. I do think that having the perks go for 2 months is a bit excessive imho.

    Agree? Disaggree? Why?
