    Outland vs Medivh

    OUTLAND:
Population - Overpopulated. 15k people playing on a TBC is just unreal. You wont ever struggle to find groups. PvP will be an issue if you like it or not. You are getting it.
x5 - Faster leveling, get to reach endgame faster and BG's ( miss most of the content and it ruins that mmo rpg feeling )
Post-nerf - End game is post nerf, meaning its raiding difficulty is catered for all player skills and you will find it easier. Gives no release of Dopamine when you kill a boss.
Cash Shop - Outland has a cash market. You can buy characters and gear with real money. ( But never to the point that you can just go and buy BiS gear. )
Community - * I don't speak for everyone * But in general mostly pricks. The odd nice person / guild but you need to look for it.

    MEDIVH
Population - Right now the population is perfect. Sometimes feels to much and to little during NA times. But never struggle to find groups and PvP to the point it's pissing you off or you need to leave.
x1 - Leveling is slow but gives you that mmorpg feeling. You get to explore everywhere and build good bonds with people as you all struggle to level together.
Pre-nerf - End game is pre-nerf, meaning its raiding is not catered for children. It will be hard. You will wipe, wipe, wipe some more and more than likely loads more. Gives huge release of Dopamine on boss kill that makes you feel like you just ejaculated over Scarlett Johansson. ( Ok Ok calm down nerd. )
Cash Shop - Nope. No buying toons, no gear. Play for it. Not pay for it.
Community - * I don't speak for everyone * But in general pretty nice and chilled. The odd prick but you only need to know how to /ignore.

I started on Outlands. Soon quit and moved to Medivh. I may be baist towards Medivh because, well I have played both and I honestly had no plans on playing on a x1 foooook that. x5 all the way baby. But it wasnt fun. Tried out the x1 I'll be honest the leveling started meh boring..... but then without even knowing my alarm went for 7am. Wait????? I forgot to go to sleep! I was just sucked into the game. Leveling felt rewarding and everyone struggling together became fun.

Anyone else feel the same? xD

That's exactly the thought that made me try Medivh. The thought that it's community would be of people that appreciate this game the nerdy way I do.The thought that while making a group I wont need to worry about geared people not knowing their own spells.Only 1 thing troubling me.No guarantee that the marketplace conditions will be left as they are.Picture struggling for pretty much anything (as tbc demands) and some day after many many hours of hard leveling and hard nerves, realm gets filled with donors who control the global channel and the group making, exactly like in woltk icecrown realm atm(which is why i quit it after gearing 10 freakin chars).

Oh wow.... I hope they don't go and do something like that. Would be such a waste. Money make's people do stupid thing's though.

Agreed, but t's also what keeps a private server like Warmane running,so who knows :D

Pre-nerf? Post-nerf? Both servers are not on 2.4.3?

On server announcements, nothing is stated that outland is post-nerf.

Yes, the idea is to have content in their pre-nerfed state (unlike Outland, that has the post-nerf versions), and to not have gear for sale in the Marketplace.

I played on outland just to lvl 12 so i cant really comment on it and i go just by what i read and see from other people.

On one side you have 30 hordes waiting for 1 spawn on the other you have an alliance player with a big RELEASE SPIRIT on the screen watching those 30 hordes. I just dont know how people can enjoy playing like that.

On Medivh im lvl 42 now and the lvling experience has been just awesome. Got a party for every dungeon quest and every elite quest kill till now. You have to have patience with making a group but since you dont outlvl dungeons that fast you just lvl while waiting. The lvling is slow but the feeling when you finish a low lvl dungeon get an item or 2 + you have 3 quests that reward really good xp and blues to finish is something i really really missed.
PvP is mostly inactive on low lvls since there needs to a be a healthy lvl 70 pop for the twinks to come out and for now people just rush levels. When you finally see your first alliance dude at lvl 20+ is just a wave/cheer fest. Ive been killed 2 times by alliance till now but other then that i guess people just let each other be so we dont drive people from the server and just get to the holy grail of levels, 58.

There is only 1 thing i would like the staff to do and that is to have that message to join global like you have on the wotlk servers since i dont think everyone knows about it.

    Anyway, sweet server.
