Medivh PvP

The problem.

No one is doing Arena or Battlegrounds on Medivh because they don't fire. There just isn't enough people on at any one time queuing for battelgrounds that ever results in a reasonable length battleground queue timer. Therefore, no one queue's because you'll be in there all day for a WsG with 5 people on both teams.
This is resulting in a lack of motivation for people to play PvP on Medivh. This is a bad thing, reducing the playable functionality of 1/3rd of the game. The other two thirds being PvE and levelling. By reducing 1/3'rd of what people enjoy about WoW; Medivh is currently not functioning on all cylinders and is missing an opportunity.

The solution.

As far as I see there are two solutions.

You change Medivh to a PvE server, stop misleading people into thinking PvP exists here; it doesn't unless you count ganking Thrallmar or Honor Hold as PvP.

Or

You introduce cross server PvP. This would allow people from Medivh to join BG and Arena queue's that are linked with Outland.
There are problems with this idea, acknowledged.

That Outland is a higher times rate server and as a result gear is easier to get, PvP is more active and you don't want a bunch of non-geared Medivh "scrubs" joining your battlegrounds and diluting your experience.
Neither do people on Medivh want to join a battleground which is full of well geared people and get wrecked.

This being said there are benefits.

There will be more people queuing for battlegrounds and arena which means they will fire faster.
That Medivh players get the opportunity to play PvP, get PvP gear and actually do something other than raiding.
After a certain amount of time things will balance out and there won't be a massive gear disparity.
Medivh will gain a PvP community and gain more players because of this.

Again, I recognise there are issues with this suggestion. I also think that the benefits outweigh those issues particularly for players on Medivh.

If the choice is between unbalanced PvP and no PvP, how are we even discussing it? Implement a fix now.

Cross-realm BG would be great, Unbalanced PVP is better than No Pvp. And cmon people on Medivh will catch up in terms of gear within a few weeks (Maybe not arena gear)

Curious if the lack of instanced PvP is due to a lack of 70's , rather than no one queuing.

I'm still only at level 50 ( yeah slow I know ) and I see plenty of players in my level range. I hope that this isn't going to turn into a PvP in name only realm.

The other solution is to offer a character xfer to Outland and make Medivh PvE.

Might well be a lack of 70's, this is something that absolutely needs monitoring though because there will be a lot of people levelling expecting to do PvP. As things stand that is not possible.

Well, till warmane find a solution or time will be a solution because I guess just a small part of the realm is 70, and even they are 70 most of them want to do reputation and be ready for Kara, after they will be geared enough they won't have what to do and I hope they will have an eye for PvP too, but till that I invite everyone to look at : http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=359691 and join the discord, both sides so we can maybe find some hours when people are not doing PvE so they are up for some BGs or arenas.

I was realy surprised that there is no bgs on any lvls (at least /who warsong shows 0 always plus unlimited searching time always for me while lvling). I cant believe server with 4k pop in peak doesnt have enough players for some bgs even on low lvls especially on weekend and peak time.

Playing there too, also cant find enough people to even form dung groups while leveling. Tought 4000 people would be enough, lol

Cross realm BGs is nothing that can just be added over night.
Thats a super complex system that would take probably over a year of development. Only very few private servers were able to develop that yet.
