Help im going crazy

I havent played wow in few years so i dl the game to start playing again. I dled wotlk old and wanted to get some addon for the green arrow at the top that points the direction. I tried all the addons possible and still cant get the arrow to show. I used tomtom, tomtomlite, carbonite, questhelper and many others.
I already tried with no result:
-Delete wow download again
-Delete addon extract again
-Enable/disable the arrow settings in tomtom (interface/addons)
-Deleting wtf folder when installing new addons
-Enable out of date addon

I play on new pc, win10, g4560, 16gb ddr4, 1920x1080res, can it be something with my software? Am i missing some kind of driver or what? I really dont have any other ideas what to do and i cant play without the green arrow, i played with that all my life...i really need some help

That arrow is also a part of the Questhelper addon.

Yea but he said it ain't workin on Questhelper.

Well it does, he must be doing something wrong.

There is a command to show/hide the questhelper arrow, something like /qh arrow enable

i know that /qh cartwp is to hide it, to show it not entirely sure, guess trying /qh help or just /qh will show commands.

I really dont think its the addon because i tried so many...i was thinking maybe because its win10? or there is some WoW setting i should/shoudnt do, give me some ideas...

I think they are but when u turn on addon before selecting character there is a box to check Load out of date addons...

You can try to find updated ones for 3.3.5 patch and see how that works out.

I really think its me, some win10 setting or some in game Wow setting, http://imgur.com/a/TMg9m i can access addon setting but they dont work, its like the game views the addon but doesnt activate it...

You use your wow from Download folder or your wow folder is somewhere else? There are various things we can try to do, but first things first, let's start from basic things. To make sure put them inside the addons folder in your WoW directory ( */World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/) to actually use them. Simply having them downloaded won't do anything, as the game only reads addons in that folder. They also have to be unzipped (ie. files in a folder, not a folder inside a .zip or a .rar) inside the addons folder. If this is fine you can try one more thing. Delete the interface folder. Start wow. close wow. New interface folder will be created (if not create one and create one addon folder in it). Extract addons to addons folder. Start wow again. Tell me if that works.

I honestly think ive tried everything :) i should just give up and play without addon cant believe my luck...smh when i played wow few years back from this server also everything was fine..i dunno what changed

Well, you can try to reinstall the game and put the folder on Desktop.

I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))

I was thinking hey, maybe the addons are old/new and this wow version on warmane is updated or old so they dont match so i went to this forum and randomly found this http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=266126, i downloaded the addon pack and with first try quest helper worked!!!!!!!!!!! im just so happy now :D
