Stuck at loading screen

I was just trying to relog from 1 toon to another, i got into my other toon successfully, and all of a sudden i realize everyone around me is moonwalking, i'm like oh another global dc yay, so i force-exit wow completely and i restart the client, i was able to log in again, (turns out there was no global dc), then i get stuck at the loading screen. The bar is fully loaded though, i just can't get in-game. I've waited about 5 minutes, been trying again and again, and it still doesn't work. I tried deleting my cache folder, (i completely deleted a file called WDB since it was the only file inside the cache, hope i didn't screw up) and it somehow created this new problem where i'm stuck at "retrieving character list"... I restarted my laptop, still the same issue. I tried logging into blackrock, created a new acct and was able to get in-game without any trouble. I even tried porting myself to the hunter-pet area just to test if i would get stuck at the loading screen again but i wasn't. So the question is why can't i get past the loading screen in icecrown but i was easily able to get in-game on blackrock? Is this a server issue or something? Please help, thanks
