Transfer server to server

Hello!

I'm just asking this out of curiousity: Is there a way to transfer a character from Frostwolf to Icecrown or Outland? If Yes, will the gear ne replaced with equivalent level of gear on the transferring server? Thanks

they dont do cross expansion transfers.

Makes sense, but what If the server comes to the same state as let's say Neltharion where it's almost dead - wouldn't be unfair to leave people who spent many hours/money playing with their characters without enjoyful option? I'm asking this since I'm not sure how promising Frostwolfs future is.

that would be something you'd have to wait until the time comes and see.
