1. Rush towers + farthest GY as fast as possible ignoring horde on the way.
2. Make sure they cap and don't let horde ninja. Ignore NPC's like the archers because when you cap they disappear.
3. Once you have AT LEAST 3 towers + farthest GY, Drek is killable.
4. EVERYONE goes ALL IN and literally zergs Drek down while running him in circles without a tank. DO NOT RESET, EVER. If you get agro, run in circles or die.
5. He eventually dies and you win.
Horde can also use this strategy but due to a map defect alliance have a shorter route and will win every time if they're faster.
And i'm posting this because its beyond frustrating when I try to explain it in the actual BG and ignorant morons insult me for it and call out other stupid crap. And you can still kill galv and cap the 4th tower which removes the other guard from Drek's room, but he's still killable with 3 + GY if enough people zerg rush him without resetting. And if Horde use this strat while ONE Alliance ***** resets Drek by running outside then it results in a loss. So LEARN THIS STRAT and USE IT if you want fast honor and marks.
ROFL! I was in that AV with you, on my warlock raging. We were sooo far ahead, like 200 reinforcements ahead, and they threw the game...
Also: I was horde for over 8 years on the Live servers, and every horde player knew that Alliance have an advantage in AV, -"due to a map defect alliance have a shorter route and will win every time if they're faster." I don't know why no one knows this on our server...
Ahh, that brought back some memories about one weekend on retail circa 2009 when AV was the weekend bg and I somehow entered a series of AVs with mostly the same people queueing constantly. We did it exactly as you described and won every single one in about 10 minutes max. I could not believe the honour I was able to grind that day. Ahhh, good times.
