Is my ping (ms) too high?

hey guys, my ping sits around 300-350. I have all my settings set to the lowest and i live in australia. I really want to play warmane (lordaron) but just want a heads up if 300-350 ping is too high to play. I love PVP but alos like to do PVE a bit too.
Also, i play on a mac so if anyone knows any ways to reduce lag that would be great.

Your settings don't matter. The server is just located too far from you.
350ms is 0,35 seconds. That means any kind of competitive PvP is not possible for you.
If you intend to casually do some arenas or battlegrounds, I don't see any issue.

PvE should be fine because there isn't really any mechanics you have to react to in under half of a second. That is, if you feel comfortable playing with the lag.
