Cellphone 2 Step Authentication

Hey guys! I looked it on the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for (I trust you'll put it in the right topic) so here it is!

Could there be a way to introduce a 2 step authentication with cellphone/SMS?

I think that it would be the most convenient & secure of the ways to authenticate 'cause you never know when you'll need to reset your phone or someone could break into your email account... By sending a login code by SMS when prompted, it makes it easy to access for the owner of the phone and is always retrievable, no matter what happens to your apps/ email accounts.

Google Authenticator is your best bet tbh, you can keep it secure as long as you are smart about your phone :). You can have it on as many devices as you can even your computer. There isn't really a need for an SMS imo, it will just cause more problems with people in certain countries.
