Cataclysm The battle for Ebon Hold

I am on this mission 'The battle of Ebon Hold', and I've killed ten npc's, as it asks of me, yet I cannot kill patchwerk, do no damage..at all, the local npc's dont aid in the fight, I've even tried dragging him to the npc's, but still they do nothing, so I am unable to beat him, I've even abandoned quest and restarted, disabled all add-on's but still nothing, I am a human-DK, I play CATA
