Pandaria stuck in gilneas' starting spot

i probably should have submitted this as a bug report but whatever.

i was trying to help my sister get further in the game when i was trying to get a lvl.19 quest done (the one where you follow someone and spy on sylvannas for a few) and we ended logging off of the game when it was done (the quest was done but the "objective complete" message didn't show up) and tried doing it later.

when i logged on to my sisters char. through my computer to get her through that quest, the entire place was left abandoned (except for the forsaken enemies)

i scattered through all of gilneas city looking for some quest givers and didn't find any.

i tried finding a way out of gilneas city so we can possibly quest somewhere else since nobody was there. but i was blocked in due to an invisible wall

i tried logging off and logging back on

i then tried restarting the game, and then my computer when that didn't work.

i did this on both our accounts and nothing worked and i'm out of options (and we both don't wanna end up starting over). does anyone have any solutions as to how i can fix this sorcery? it would really help. please? i even said the all magical "P" word!

The bugs in this startzone are well known and caused by blizzards excessive use of "phasing" scenarios and npcs to show of a changing game world. When the phasing goes wrong near the end, if you already learned the racespecific spells, you can try asking a GM via ingame ticket to portal you out to where you would end up after the startzone is done.
